I began this floral painting many months ago but stopped painting on it while I painted many of the portrait paintings. In August I decided to finish it and I am glad that I did. Here it is.

Lauren

This is a study of a lovely young lady named Lauren with a very charming personality who I met in the San Bernardino National Forest. She and her father were kind enough to let me photo her for a painting.

Katie Brandeburg

This is my beautiful niece Katie who is a wonderful professionally trained singer and also plays the guitar. She is currently attending BYU. The bushes in the background are Manzanita from Northern California.

I love the simplicity of this painting and the multiple colors in the crystal vase. I am sorry I can not recall the name of the delicate white flowers on the left. If you know...let me know.

Here is this blue and white ceramic vase again done by a local potter. This large pink rose has just opened up, one of my favorite views of garden roses.

The peach Rose is Evelyn, the yellow is Charlotte and the orange is Pat Austin from David Austin rose breeder. The blue flowers in the concrete pot are Violets. The Pitcher is an elegant cut crystal vase purchased off the internet from William C. Boswell - Ruby Lane shop Boswell Estates
